Parenting Awareness Michigan (PAM) Month Essay and Drawing Contest
Charlevoix and Emmet County 2nd and 3rd graders are encouraged to participate every year in our essay and drawing contest on the topic, "What Makes Your Family Strong?" Entries will be accepted the first week of February. All participants will receive a certificate. Winning essays will be published in the Petoskey News-Review and winning drawings will be framed on display at area libraries during the Parenting Awareness Month of March.

Action-Hero Fun Run - Encourage Healthy Activities!
The CAPE Council hosts action-hero fun runs at family friendly events including the Children's Health Fair in the spring. Visit our booth to borrow an action hero cape and help us encourage children to be active.
Annual Community Recognition
